About the project
Located in Kyneton, Victoria, the Taungurung Passivhaus has been built with the aim of being future-proof and sustainable, taking into consideration the unique climate and conditions of the area.
The kitchen designed by Hè Hè Design is a standout feature of the house, with an earthy colour palette that takes inspiration from the natural country setting the house is nestled in. The combination of pale green and timber cabinetry, along with the open shelving, gives the kitchen a welcoming and warm atmosphere.
Black accents in the lighting, windows and hardware provide the right level of visual contrast amongst the soft colours, promoting a light, bright and airy feeling. The cabinetry is adorned with our Madera handles crafted from European Beech with Matt Black posts. A sophisticated handle, Madera connects many of the elements together, adding to this already impressive kitchen.
